Judge Shauna Graves-Robertson was presented with the Raymond S. Uno Award at the Bar’s Spring Convention in St. George.

Judge Graves-Robertson is a proud Utah native. At an early age she gave her life to Christ at the Calvary Baptist Church where she continues to serve as a member in both the Inspirational and Mass Choir. She is an alumnus of West High School, Arizona State University, and the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. In addition, she received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Salt Lake Community College.  In 1999, she was appointed to the Salt Lake County Justice Court as the first and remains the only African American female judge in the State of Utah.

Judge Graves-Robertson is a Silver Star and Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® (AKA). She is the current Far Western Regional Representative to the International Nominating Committee of AKA and the president of Upsilon Beta Omega Chapter. She is a life member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the Chairman of the Utah Supreme Court Community Relations Committee and the 49th Chairman of the National Bar Association Judicial Council.
